ENTRACTE - Assessment and further development of the European climate policy
ENTRACTE aims at identifying a feasible climate policy mix to achieve long-term greenhouse gas reduction targets in Europe. The project assesses the EU's climate portfolio paying special attention to the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and its interaction with additional policy instruments.
The ENTRACTE research project is funded under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union and is coordinated by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim/ Germany. Nine partners from six European countries collaborate in the ENTRACTE consortium within the project's lifetime of 37 months, starting September 2012.
